Data Analyst
The Metrics and Reporting Data Analyst will be responsible for delivering and supporting information security business intelligence reports and dashboards, in partnership with internal business stakeholders, and InfoSec teams. The Metrics and Reporting Data Analyst will provide enhancements and small-scale projects (from inception through to production) and will be responsible for creating and maintaining online reports and dashboards that house information on InfoSec services performance and associated key performance indicators to measure the maturity and effectiveness of Itron’s InfoSec program.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop report templates and fit relevant security metrics data into the templates
- Use visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI) to contextualize information in a manner suitable to executive audiences
- Must understand business requirements and data base technology.
- Identify key business metrics measurements and develop methods to represent data in support of the measurements
- Work with internal teams and other team members to understand and define reporting requirements
- Provide guidance and insight on data visualization and reporting best practices
- Document reporting requirements and define report templates and dashboard specifications
- Analyzes and consolidates data to create desired output.
- Create enhancements to existing reports.
- Research new reporting methods, processes, and tools.
Skills Required
- Advanced level Excel knowledge (including Pivot and macro)
- Good analytical reasoning skills with the ability to recognize and evaluate facts, to analyze situations, and to synthesize and organize data/information from multiple sources and highlight salient facts
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and writing skills, to engage with any Itron Departments and roles.
- Confident intermediate English knowledge
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Skills desired:
- Microsoft PowerBI (all ecosystem: Desktop, Services, Gateway).
- Experience with relational databases especially Oracle, Microsoft SQL
- Experience with visualization tools and with analytical tools supporting data analysis and reporting
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Bash).
