What you’ll do:
The Lead Digital Factory Engineer will join our i4.0 ES EMEA Team and will be responsible for driving improvements in efficiency, quality & safety in manufacturing operations ( all EMEA plants ) through the deployment of appropriate Industry 4.0 tools & technologies especially Digital Core and Data Analytic such as: real time OEE, process control & traceability, predictive maintenance, Digital work instructions, Augmented Reality, Digital Twin

Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop knowledge & expertise in the Digital Core and other i4.0 solution to be a subject matter expert (SME) for the deployment EMEA sites and teams
Lead EMEA Industry 4.0 “Technology Councils” for assigned areas of digital factory
Guide & support plant teams on machine connectivity & data acquisition activities
Drive and support i4.0 projects and assure that all required i4.0 solutions are integrated into model lines according defined roadmap (e.g. OEE, Traceability, Simulation, Automation, Predictive Maintenance).
Manage projects & proof of concept I4.0 ideas of non standard solutions to validate business cases, reporting status to meet delivery timeline and Capex requirements and budget
Responsible for driving the pragmatic, integrated and structured approach driving all sites towards a pull Industry 4.0 mindset as part of continuous improvement activities.
Train key plant personnel on the Industry 4.0 tools & technologies being deployed to ensure successful adoption and achieve improvement objectives
Assist manufacturing teams in the development, submission & approval of business cases for Industry 4.0 project opportunities
Work within cross-regional Electrical Sector groups to develop Global standard practices for assigned areas of digital factory
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
"Min 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering ( controls engineering, programming, additive manufacturing, digital twin, big data & analytics
Experience in introducing and manage MES, ERP system, Change Management System "
Skills:
"Strong understanding of machine connectivity, communication protocols & data management
Understanding of IT infrastructure & system integration
Knowledge/Experience with setup of Kepware OPC system, Thingworx (PTC), SCADA systems
Strong manufacturing knowledge of equipment and process improvement"
"Solid interpersonal skills effective in building strategic relationships, team building, and ability to interact and influence through all levels of the organization
