To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an NPI\Quote Industrial Engineer located in Zalaegerszeg.
Reporting to the Industrial Engineer the NPI\Quote Industrial Engineer role involves increasing productivity through the methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently customer solutions.
What a typical day looks like:
- Preparing competitive quotations to supports Program Management/Business Development Management
- Providing process time estimation to the quote team by preparing SoE (Sequence of Events) and Tariffs of products based on information received from Customer\Design Team and by using MTM-UAS method
- Selecting appropriate equipment\tool types and defining concept for automation based on the available documentation
- Createing technical summary and presenting to the Customers
- Suggesting improvements, automation solutions and new technologies in agreement with site Engineering Manager to increase competitiveness of quotations
- Coordinating process planning and prepare initial SoE / Tariff during NPI
- Proposing cell/line layout and participates in re-quote of product
- Reviewing result during protyping and trial runs and giving feedback to NPI and sales/quote team
- Recommending methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocation work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment
- Cooperationg with management, engineering and operation staff to implement plans and recommendations
- Participating in design or improvement of systems for the physical distribution of goods and services, initiates projects in these topics
- Preparing complete package of documentation to pass over NPI project to Industrial Engineers before SOP
- Supporting initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas like LEAN, Automation and/or 6 Sigma projects
- Participating in Research Development activities at the company
- Developing the new and applied methods at assigned professional field, to make proposal for that
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Engineering degree
- Manufacturing experience in the relevant field
- Advanced level in English and Hungarian languages (both written and spoken)
- REFA and MTM certification is advantage
- Knowledge of a 2/3D design program (e.g. SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD)
- Advanced level of Excel
- Initiative, self-driven attitude
- Commitment to continuous learning
