This is a role within Genpact HMS service line and is based out of Budapest CoE.

This open post is for an experienced collection analyst within the EMEA Credit Management team based in Budapest. The primary purpose is to provide expert Credit management skills for the customer base in relation to managing the cash flow for the portfolio ensuring all cash flow targets are met and exceeded, to improve cash flow, work with business partners improving processes, communicate policy and provide credit/commercial support to sales/operations/end customers and will fully support the EMEA credit migration program and support their teams on processes. The position requires proven experience in a senior credit function, process improvement skills, business and commercial acumen and has a strong change management ethic.
Responsibilities
  • Drive cash flow improvements within EMEA region for the Electrical and Industrial Divisions. Required to successfully manage the assigned portfolio to deliver cash flow targets in line with monthly goals and expectations.
  • Achieve Aged debt, DSO and collection goals utilizing advanced collection techniques in line with the SAP, GetPaid and Oracle processes.
  • Initiate and drive pro-active collections by collaborating with the customers to identify queries or disputes prior to due date of invoices.
  • Build and maintain a strong network and relationship with key stakeholders such as Claims, in country specialists, Sales, customer service, plant finance teams and end customer base to support collections and clearance of dispute management.
  • Manage and deploy key Credit procedures within country and region. Manage the decision making on stop shipments for their key countries. Ensures W/O and reserves are reflective of country specifics. Including escalation to Atradius collections and legal proceedings. Ensure all key work processes are followed through automated systems daily. (Dunning’s, statements, invoice copies and customer responses).
  • Ensure the integrity of the receivables by accurately clearing of all aged Cash on account in line with the agreed targets.
  • Identify and categorize all aged debt accurately including robust commentary entered within the key credit systems and efficiently identify the stakeholder required to clear the balance that relates to a claim or dispute.
  • Provide accurate weekly cash forecasts highlighting risks, opportunities and providing recommendations to management based on collection activity to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Drive front end enhancements mitigating reoccurring challenges within the OTC cycle. Drive next generation process changes enhancing the cash flow for the regions and roll out standardization and best practice across the function. Support all system upgrades and own key requirements during projects for the OTC process.
  • Manage and maintain the customer masterfile for both SAP, Get Paid and Oracle systems ensuring accurate data on all customers.
Qualifications
  • Education level required: Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in finance, credit or similar
  • Soft skills:
o Fluent spoken and written English essential.
o Other main European Language’s preferable.
o Experience within a high performing credit function working with operations and commercial teams within a multinational (manufacturing) company.
o Proven ability to drive results and continuous improvement culture across multiple business units.
o Customer Relationship Management, both internal and external, experience essential
o Ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external teams; used to operate, negotiate and influence effectively in an international organization
o Good communication, presentation, training, process management and change management skills
o Cross/multi-cultural background and experience; sensitive to cultural differences
o Proven track record leading supporting on business improvement initiatives
o Proven technical expertise knowledge on multiple ERP and financial systems (experience of Oracle and SAP platforms preferred)
o Excellent analytical skills to interpret and relate financial data so that the resulting comments describe the key risks and drivers
o High ethical standards
o Ability to deal with a range of issues efficiently and in a timely manner
o Knowledge of process improvement techniques and the ability to promote positive change
o Good interpersonal skills – ability to work with all levels of the organization.
o Be very solutions driven, analytical and capable of delivering results
o Able to work within a large, multi-cultural organization with international stakeholders
o Work well under pressure and be skilled at managing multiple tasks within demanding timelines
