Scope
The Jr Finance Analyst - Standard Costing will manage the global standard product costing process for Chemical Monitoring Solution (CMS) as a wing-to-wing process for the assigned regions. This role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of all financial transactions relating to quarterly development of standard product costing and the valuation of inventory. The position will work closely with the CMS Inventory Analyst. The Finance Analyst - Standard Costing role requires cross-functional engagement, organizational, presentation skills, and an ability to understand and analyze accounting, finance, and operational processes.

Required education and experience
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Finance/Accounting analyst role
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Proficiency in Excel & MS Office or google applications (google sheets, slides, forms)
SAP or other ERP experience – Preferably in Product Cost Controlling
Tableau experience a plus

Tasks and responsibilities
Update CMS Standard Costs on a Quarterly basis for NAM, EMEA, and APAC. Update daily workflow cost requests for plant/warehouse costing updates/extensions. Assist in the Standard Cost development for Analytical Instruments and the ES product line as required.
Partner with Operating Leaders to drive the Quarterly completion of the CMS Product Costing Updates for North America, Europe & Middle East, and Asia Pacific plant locations and warehouses. This interaction includes: Product Information (BOMS and Recipes), Sourcing (Raw Material Pricing), and Supply Chain Finance (Labor and Overhead Rate Development).
Communicate cross functionally with Regional operating teams to ensure all data for standard cost calculations are stated accurately and timely.
Prepare CMS Product Costing for New Products / Plants on Daily Basis, recognizing this information is critical to support Commercial Operations relating to Customer Pricing / New Business Bids.
Respond to client ad-hoc requests for customized data and reports in a knowledgeable and flexible manner
Ensure controllership and consistency of standard costing process across all regions; drive compliance through regional/operations teams
