Scope of responsibilities:
- Purchasing responsibility for suppliers inside the relevant category including price negotiations and long-term agreements.
- Execute price negotiations of serial products, and negotiate prices of new projects
- Creation of the Total Cost Comparison including supplier recommendation.
- Development of Strategies together with local and global management.
- Global supplier selection in cross-functional teams.
- Preparation and execution of purchasing contracts with suppliers.
- Preparation and presentation of decision proposals for the higher management.
- Adherence to the process environment during the realization of all projects.
- Alignment of all measures and decisions with the defined KPIs.
- Benchmarking to identify saving potentials and derive supplier strategies.
Requirements
:
- Completed studies in business or engineering
- Experience in strategic sourcing for at least 2 years
- Price negotiation experience / strong negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of contract law
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills and experience from cross functional work
- Intercultural competences, willingness to work in a global environment
- Sound knowledge of MS office applications like Excel and Powerpoint
- Availability to travel abroad, mainly in Europe
- Team player
- Determined, confident person
